At Action on Disability, our Welfare Benefits Service is here to guide you through the process, ensuring you have access to the support you’re entitled to. Our expert team provides confidential advice and assistance on a range of benefits for disabled people and their families.

We can support you with

  • Disability Living Allowance (DLA): For children under 16 needing extra care or mobility support.
  • Employment and Support Allowance (ESA): For those unable to work due to illness or disability.
  • Personal Independence Payment (PIP): For adults aged 16 to 64 who need help with some of the extra costs caused by long-term ill-health or a disability.
  • Universal Credit: A payment to help with your living costs if you’re on a low income or out of work.
  • Housing Benefit: To help you pay your rent if you’re on a low income or claiming benefits.
  • Council Tax Support: Reductions available for those on a low income or receiving certain benefits.
